Covid Safety Checklist
Flying and Sanitizing Rules and Policy:
In order to reduce the chance of spreading Covid-19, the following rules and procedures must be followed:

Solo flights or flights with members of your same household/core group only. NO flying with anyone who does not live in the same household.

NO sharing of headsets. Please only use your own headsets for you or your guest.

Sanitize your hands with hand sanitizer upon entering the hangar.

Masks must be worn at all times in the hangar if someone else is present.

Maintain 2m social distancing inside the hangar.

For non-solo flights, masks must be worn at all times in the aircraft for all occupants if you are flying with an instructor or someone not in your same household.

For your own safety, please wipe down the aircraft before and after flight - door handles, controls, arm rests, seats, seatbelts and buckles, yoke, all control buttons, switches and knobs, engine, flap and trim controls, keys and checklists.

Sanitize your hands with hand sanitizer prior to entering the aircraft.

Wipe down the tow bar before and after use.
Please do not come to the hangar or fly if you:

Have come into contact with someone who has been tested Covid-19 positive in the past 14 days.

Have a fever or symptoms of a flu-like illness such as cough, shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing, sore throat, fatigue, loss of scent/taste.

Have travelled to an area with known local spread of Covid-19, or have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days.
This policy will be reviewed periodically based on the Covid situation and directives/guidelines from BC Ministry of Health. We urge all members to follow the BC provincial health directives on physical distancing and sanitizing procedures to help minimize the spread of this virus.
